Jacob Page


Jacob Page joined the Sport Canterburyteam as Communications and Engagement Advisor - Healthy Families Christchurch in June 2017.

Following an appointment by the Ministry of Health last year, Sport Canterbury was established as the new lead provider for Healthy Families Christchurch.

Jacob comes to Sport Canterbury from a Sports Editor role with the Nelson Weekly, Waimea Weekly and nelsonlive.co.nz.

Previously he led editorial teams within the Blenheim Sun newspaper and worked for the Timaru Herald as a sports reporter.

A born and bred Cantabrian, Jacob is looking forward to moving back to Christchurch, maintaining his connection to the world of sport and being part of the Healthy Families Christchurch team.

About Healthy Families NZ

Following an appointment by the Ministry of Health in 2016, Sport Canterbury is the lead provider for Healthy Families Christchurch.

Healthy Families NZ currently focuses on 10 New Zealand communities, and is positively impacting the lives of over a million New Zealanders at present.

The Healthy Families Christchurch team is: Jill Borland (Manager), Naomi Tuipulotu, Losana Korovulavula and Nina Perez (Settings Coordinators), and Jacob Page (Communications and Engagement Advisor).

As with all Healthy Families NZ locations, the workforce of five full-time staff in Christchurch will work with local leaders to create sustainable healthy change and to make healthy choices more accessible.
