Lee-Anne Lang

Lee-Anne Lang joined Sport Canterbury’s South Canterbury Regional Office in 2007. She began her involvement with the Regional Sports Trust as Sea2Sea Challenge Coordinator.

Lee-Anne’s areas of responsibility include general administration, and support with Active Kids Holiday Programmes and community events. These events include the region’s iconic Sea2Sea Challenge, Jump Jam Extravaganza, and the South Canterbury & Aoraki Secondary Schools Sports Awards.

Born and bred in Timaru, Lee-Anne is passionate about physical activity. Her main sporting interests include basketball, running and early morning spin bike sessions at the local gym. Lee-Anne also has many years of softball experience, which included making a New Zealand team trial.

As the mother of two teenage children who have followed her passion for basketball, Lee-Anne has enjoyed an active supporting role, travelling around New Zealand with coaching and team management responsibilities.
