Natalie Cameron joined Sport Canterbury's Physical Activity team in October 2016.
Natalie Cameron joined the team at Sport Canterbury with a background in smokefree health and hiking adventures.
Her role within the Physical Activity team as Physical Health Advisor takes responsibility for the Burwood-Pegasus area.
Natalie’s key responsibilities are: supporting individuals to engage in lifelong physical activity for wellness; delivering eight-week 'Be Active' programmes; and providing physical activity leadership and relevant resources for Canterbury communities.
She was previously employed by the South Canterbury Cancer Society as a Smokefree Health Promoter and Fundraising Coordinator, and has also worked for Active Adventures New Zealand as a hiking guide.
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physical Activity, Health and Wellness) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Promotion from Otago University.
She enjoys water and snow skiing, tennis and hiking.
