We started with the shape characteristic of a ball or globe, symbolising action, movement and belonging.

Within that space, the sections reflect our diverse stakeholders across our community - advocates for the value of play, active recreation and sport participation, and healthy choices.

The sections are also meaningful to us as a reflection of our regional approach - from Greater Ōtautahi Christchurch to Mid and South Canterbury and Te Tai Poutini West Coast. The highlighted section is intended to suggest you play a role in our Sport Canterbury world - whether as a teacher, coach, parent, health professional or activity provider.
