A wide range of groups and organisations are encouraged to apply for a new Sport NZ fund that is open for applications from Monday 24 August – Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa.
 

Tū Manawa is for community-based programmes and projects helping tamariki and rangatahi get active through play, active recreation and sport. This fund replaces and improves on Sport NZ’s Kiwisport Regional Partnership Fund and now has double the funding available over four years.

Sport NZ is partnering with Regional Sports Trusts to manage and distribute Tū Manawa, with $16 million of funding allocated per annum to activate programmes and projects in their communities.  Programmes or projects may be new or already operating, and funding will be provided for up to 12 months.
